Reindeer Sleigh Ride
Traditional reindeer ride by the river. As in old days in Sámiland, sit back, relax and enjoy the wintry view while a reindeer pulls the sleigh. After the ride, reward your reindeer with his favourite food and take pictures to share your memories!

Reindeer Day
I, your Skolt Sámi guide Emma, will take you to a sleigh ride with my antler-headed friends and to a tour on my reindeer park. I will show you how I make fire on my Sámi lavvu and will make some hot drinks and snacks by the open fire for us.
You’ll learn about Skolt Sámi handicrafts, Sámi culture and the life cycle of reindeer. At the end you’ll have a chance to test your skills at throwing ”Suopunki”, the reindeer herder’s lasso!

Please note that sleigh rides are available only during optimal snow conditions. REINDEER DAY -activity without the sleigh ride is 150 € / person when the snow conditions are not optimal.
Additional lunch in Laavu (reindeer soup, bread & hot juice) 20 € / person

Reindeer Park Visit
Welcome to a tour on my reindeer park! I will show you how I make fire on my Sámi lavvu and prepare some hot drinks and snacks by the open fire for us.
You’ll learn a lot about Skolt Sámi handicrafts, Sámi culture and the life cycle of reindeer. At the end you’ll have a chance to test your skills at throwing ”Suopunki”, the reindeer herder’s lasso!
And of course hang out with all the reindeer inside their home fence.

Feed the reindeer
Participate in the daily reindeer feeding with me. You will learn new things about reindeer and get to see how is the life inside the reindeer fence.
A great way to meet the reindeer quickly from a closer distance and get some fun pictures.
